Hi,
I'm trying to open port forwarding for a local server, so I set my IP to static and stayed in the range of my gateway. When I get on whatismyip, it shows a completely different ip address (at least it's always the same) and it's out of my gateway's range, which prevents me from opening a port in my router's setup (supposed to be in 192.168.0.x, but I get 70.53.70.x).
I'm stuck and can't get to open any ports, so it's impossible for me to set a local server right now as all inbound data is blocked.
Can someone please help me? I've been stuck on this for two days and don't know what to try anymore.
